Sudden Valley fireworks display will be held at the Marina on Saturday July the 3.Professional pyro-technician, Dick McKinley will be conducting the 2010 fireworks display again this year. The fireworks display has been nothing less than spectacular. Bring your whole family to use the designated area to shoot off “Safe and Sane” fireworks ONLY.
Bob’ Burgers and Brew will be serving hot dogs, hamburgers, cold drinks and beer from 2 to 8 pm at the marina.
What is considered “Safe and Sane” in one city or state might not be considered “Safe and Sane” in another city or state of the U.S. Most of the time, however, when people refer to “Safe and Sane” fireworks they are generally referring to consumer fireworks which do not leave the ground, shoot projectiles into the air or explode in any way.
Sudden Valley Maintenance crews have been busy beginning the initial preparations for the installation of the new mailbox units. Trees have been cut and removed from Western Lane to make way for the new mailboxes. The trees were cut to contractor specifications to enable easy removal of root balls and stumps. The work was initiated after Whatcom County Planning issued a permit to the Association.
