The Committee completed the following major accomplishments in 2009.

SVCA’s Adult Center is now an official Red Cross shelter if we ever need it. This project is in progress, please contact Laura Weide for more information.

Designated inclement weather parking areas in case of  winter snow storms.

Many of SVCA staff took CPR and emergency health training this summer.

The Board also passed an open fire ban for the Valley during the dry months to prevent wildfires.

Emergency Preparedness Committee meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at the Creekside Coffee House.
