To accommodate those who are interested in taking this class there are two dates available in September the first is Wednesday the 15th and the second is Saturday the 18th both dates will start at 9 am. Please indicate the preferred date on the sign-up form, below.The Emergency Preparedness Committee, in association with the Dave Ralston and the Fire Department, has scheduled an instructional class for Heimlich/CPR.

DJ Schwab, son of Dave and Sue Schwab, was the first person to use the new boat launch gate at the Sudden Valley Marina. He is seen here using the relocated card reader at the gate. The gate is now programmed to open only for residents with authorized access cards.The new gate was designed and installed by Gateway Controls who incorporated several safety features into the operation of the gate.· An audio alarm sounds when the gate is ready to open and close. July 19-21 the Sudden Valley Women’s Club took over the Sudden Valley Golf Course hosting their annual Invitational Tournament. Women came from British Columbia, all over Whatcom County and as far as California to play with a local partner. More…
