There has been discussion in our community regarding what or whom precipitated the recent article about Sudden Valley in the Bellingham Herald.

Neither the Sudden Valley Board of Directors nor staff contacted the Bellingham Herald. In the reporter’s own words, “A Herald employee who is a SV resident brought the proposed dues increase to our attention, and my editor assigned the story to me . . .”
