DESCRIPTION:Among the many avenues for emergency preparedness in Sudden Valley\, it is crucial to have the ability to communicate when the traditional methods of communication are down (ie. cell phones\, etc.). Presently\, there is an active Sudden Valley Amateur Radio Club of licensed radio operators\, but there is a need for more! It’s a wonderful hobby\, but more importantly\, it could be our communication to the outside world in case of a major emergency.
