Starting in September, Tai Chi will start back up and be held in the Dance Barn every Thursday from 10 am – noon. Tai Chi is a free class and all who participate need to be vaccinated and preferably wear a mask. This class will continue until December 9th and there will be no class on Thanksgiving (11/25). Due to the fabulous weather, Dance Blast will be held on the Quiet Pool deck every Monday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the rest of August. Members need an Access Card to enter the Quiet Pool facility. We are happy to announce a new Senior Strength for Life class session being offered by certified trainer David Herrera! The class will be starting April 29th at the Community Center in Multipurpose Room A. The new class session will be on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Class size is limited so give David a call today at (360) 223-4862 to reserve your spot.
The Recreation Department is excited to announce a new class at the Community Center! Renowned artist Larry Gerber will be offering his “Brushstrokes Workshop”. This is a 4-week painting class from April 16, 2019 to May 14, 2019, being held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
With this painting class, you will discover your unique individuality while learning how to use form and color to create an impressionistic or realistic piece of art.
