Beginning Monday, March 23, Bellingham Public Schools will be delivering free meals to help students and families who may struggle with food supplies when schools are closed. Hours operation will be as follows: Time: 11:00 am to 12:30 pm Location: In front of the Dance Barn (Barn 8) Families can pull up in front of the entrance to the Dance barn, and members of the School District’s Food Service Support team will assist you. The coordinator for the Sudden Valley area is Elizabeth Van Niekerk, and she is asking that families that choose to participate in this program email her in order to get a daily headcount. She may be contacted at: Elizabeth.VanNiekerk@bellinghamschools.org Each student will receive two meals: lunch for the day and breakfast (with a different meal each day) all families with students under 18 are eligible for this program. The School District would also like to remind families to continue to check email and the Sudden Valley website for the most up-to-date information.
