a. Forecast is indicating snow is expected to dissipate at approx. 07:00 PM tonight and expected to cease at -08:00 PM. Snow showers are forecasted to resume at midnight and continue till 04:00 AM.
b. Sudden Valley roads have a number of areas of slush in the lower gates, however Gate 5 is still slick and it is recommended that transit should only be done with all wheel drive or with traction devices and tires.
c. Sudden Valley Maintenance sand/deicer crews are deployed and working to deploy sand/deicer on known troubled areas. SVCA main roads have been sanded but many connector roads do have ice/slush conditions.
d. Drivers should use extreme caution due to the conditions, travel with two wheel drive vehicles is not advised at Gate 5 but all areas – CAUTION is advised, traction tires or chains are advised

Overnight forecast shows rain showers before 10pm, then rain and snow showers likely between 10pm and 4am, then snow showers likely after 4am. Low around 31. South southeast wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Gate 5 conditions indicate snow at the upper elevations up to 5 inches.
