Field Day is the Open House of Ham Radio and it has been the most popular on-air event in the US and Canada since 1933. Field Day occurs annually on the fourth weekend in June and draws over 35,000 participants. Clubs and friends gather to exhibit the science and skill of Ham Radio operations at temporary transmitting stations which are set up in public places to demonstrate the value Ham Radio represents to public service, emergency preparedness and community outreach.
We encourage you and your family to drop in and learn about Ham Radio and how you might help your community. We’ll be operating by the CERT trailer near the Marina from June 24th through 25th (11am-11am). We look forward to seeing you there!
