Forecasted Winter Event – December 5, 6 and 7

Forecasts Are calling for snow and ice conditions on roads in Sudden Valley.  Sudden Valley priority roads (identified in blue on the 2016-17 Snow Response map) will receive de-icing and snow plowing services as conditions warrant. We currently have 4 trucks set up staged and ready for snow plow/sander/ de-icing operations. An additional snow plow only truck is set up, staged and ready.

We are urging residents to use extreme caution while driving through the community. Please drive slowly using chains, snow-tires, and four-wheel drive to safely navigate our streets. Given the steep driveways throughout Sudden Valley, we ask that you plan ahead to salt, shovel, or deice your driveways before attempting to navigate onto roads.

The Association will provide overflow parking at the following locations:

Gate 1 at the Park & Ride and Rotunda
Gate 2 in the lower Golf Parking Lot
Gate 5 in the Emergency Overflow Parking Area

Please, if parking on streets DO NOT block traffic. Cars sliding may hit parked vehicles obstructing the roadways.
