Most trash cans have been removed from public areas due to the decrease in staff as well as the potential increased risk of infection. We are receiving reports that people are leaving their trash and dog waste on the ground. Residents’ trash service with SSC has remained unchanged so we implore individuals to remove their own waste and not put Parks crews at risk. We will be replacing a few trash cans in high traffic areas, but again please be considerate of your neighbors and this beautiful forest we live in and pick up after yourself.
