PHASE 1 CONSTRUCTION RESTART
Contractors and Builders of Sudden Valley Community Association
Re:  Phase 1 Construction Restart
COVID-19 Job Site Requirements

On Friday, April 24, 2020 Governor Jay Inslee issued Implementation of Phase 1 Construction Restart – Proclamation 20-25.  This provides strict criteria for construction activity to restart.  Sudden Valley Community Association understands that many of you are looking forward to getting back to work on your approved construction sites, and we hope to make this process as quick as possible.  We also are dedicated to the health and safety of our residents and homeowners, as well as the contractors that work in our community.

Sudden Valley has developed a checklist of site requirements issued by the Governor, and SVCA staff will be conducting random site visits to verify your compliance.  If you have any questions or issues with these requirements, please contact Jenny at accadmin@suddenvalley.com or Bruce at bruce@suddenvalley.com.

Regards,
Joe Acla

Adult Center Retaining Wall Replacement

Commencing Wednesday, July 17th, construction on the Adult Center Retaining Wall will be taking place on the back side of the Quiet Pool area. Dependent upon weather, the project is expected to be completed over a 1-week period. Residents and guests using the Quiet Pool are advised to expect normal construction noises (i.e. light equipment noise and workers talking in the background) continuously between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for the duration of the projection.

The Quiet Pool will continue to operate as normal. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to members and their guests while we make necessary repairs to this amenity.

Gate 2 Entrance Construction Scheduled Thursday, August 30, 2018

Work on the replacement of the main electrical feeder wires into Gate 2 is accelerating this week. PSE’s contractor Power X will be working on the Marigold Drive one-way road lanes for the next several days. The west bound lane or exit lane of Marigold will be closed. The inbound or east lane will be a controlled one-way lane. This work will also affect Clubhouse access and access into and out of the Center Condos.

Flaggers will be positioned to ensure the safety of traffic and pedestrians.

Use caution when walking in this area and entering or leaving Gate 2. Expect delays of up to five minutes.

Traffic Update: Road Closures Gates 5 & 9 on 7/31/18

The 2018 Culvert Repair project will be starting construction next week.  Iverson Construction has given us notice that they will be closing one lane of Polo Park Drive near Glacier Ridge Drive on July 31st. Iverson will post a “pre-notice for construction” this Saturday to inform residents.  Gate 5 work on Culvert 225 on Lake Louise Road will not involve closing the road, though they will be closing the shoulder off of Louise View Drive the following week.

Please contact Bruce Bishop at bruce@suddenvalley.com if you have questions.
