Interactive Lecture by Larry Gerber 10/4/18
You are invited to attend a FREE interactive Lecture on the “Language of Art” taught by renowned artist Larry Gerber. In this lecture, you will learn the basics of how to read a painting, painting vocabulary, and the step by step process of constructing a painting. The lecture will be held on October 4, 2018 at 5:00pm in the Dance Barn at the Community Center. This lecture is a precursor for a 3-day art session and art classes that will be held after this lecture. More info about the 3-day art session and classes will be posted. Dog Day Afternoons
Cuddle up with a good book and read to a canine friend from the Whatcom Humane Society. Choose your half-hour between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. and read once a week for three weeks. Must be able to read with animal help. All dogs have completed basic obedience and/or have participated in WHS education programs. Space is limited; registration required.
