Bokashi: Indoor Food Waste Composting

Bokashi is a fermentation process that pickles kitchen food waste (including meat, cheese, dairy, and citrus) indoors, year-round, without turning, or requiring much space. The nutrient-rich pre-compost is added to the soil where microbes break it down further. Nicole Styles teaches participants how to set up their Bokashi composting system.
