DUE TO CURRENT WEATHER CONDITIONS, THE BELOW PLANNED WORK WILL BE DELAYED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
There are two, large, dead trees just inside of Gate 2 that are a potential threat to traffic on Marigold Drive. These trees are scheduled to be removed on Thursday, October 13, 2016. While the trees are being removed, traffic on Marigold will be restricted for the safety of vehicles. Also, the pathway along Marigold, next to Lake Louise, will be closed to foot traffic to prevent injury to a person walking in the general area of falling limbs.
The dead trees are located along both of the one-way roads as vehicles enter and exit Gate 2. While the trees are being cut, traffic will be limited to using one of the on- way lanes. Flaggers will assist drivers by holding traffic in one direction while oncoming traffic transits the designated one-way road. Traffic cones will put in place to prevent vehicles from entering into the work zone where a tree is being removed.
Plan For Delays.
Work will start promptly at 9:00 AM on October 13, 2016. The planned tree removals should be completed by 11:30 AM that same day. Expect traffic delays of less than 5 minutes on the Marigold Drive one-way roads. Emergency services will be notified and contingency plans in place to provide immediate access in and out of Gate 2 in case of a declared emergency.
Center Condominiums Access
During this work period, vehicle and foot traffic in and out of the Center Condominiums will be routed away from the work zone and directed to the east parking area exit and merged into the traffic on Marigold Drive.
