Volunteer for Halloween Fun!

Celebrate the spooky season in socially distant style and comfort! Cruise past the Community Center and collect some tasty treats right through your car window from candy slides, 3-6 PM on Halloween
The Recreation Department would like to thank the community for attending the second annual Halloween Trunk or Treat event that happened on October 26th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Community Center. The event was held in partnership with ReMax courtesy of Sommer Cronck. About 350 people attended the event and enjoyed the many activities offered including free professional portraits, trick or treating from highly decorated trunks of community members vehicles in the parking lot, haunted hayride through the golf course, outdoor bonfire, live band in the Dance Barn, kids craft table and games, and lots of candy! We are working on creating a link to download photos from the event, and will post shortly. We are already looking forward to seeing you next year!
We are excited to announce the FREE Ghosts and Ghouls Community Fun Run will be offered again this year on October 12th on the Sudden Valley Golf Course. The 5K event will start at 9:45 a.m. and the (kids under 10) 500-meter dash will be offered at 9:45 a.m. While this is a free event, we are asking you bring a non-perishable food donation to the event, which will be donated to the Sudden Valley Community Cupboard; a food donation program that helps members of our Community. It is recommended 5K runners arrive 20-30 minutes early to receive their bib, sign an injury waiver, and warm up. We recommend printing and filling out the injury waiver ahead of time and bringing to the event. For more information, contact Recreation Manager Maddie Ottley at recmgr@suddenvalley.com.
