Maintenance staff will be working on Lake Louise Trail next Tuesday, June 27, 2023. Access will be limited throughout the day.     

SVCA’s 2023 Asphalt Repairs project will start on Monday, 6-26-23, and is expected to be completed the week of July 24^th.  The asphalt work is being completed by WRS.  WRS will be working Monday thru Thursday each week from 8:00am to 6:00pm.  No work will occur the week of 7-3-23 to 7-6-23.  SVCA residents should expect isolated road closures, and delays during this period.  Asphalt repairs are taking place throughout SVCA in all of the gates.”

06/26/2023  Sandalwood Circle will be closed at one end for a concrete pour 9:30am to 2:00pm

06/21/2023 38 Windward Drive, Flaggers will be present for cable work by PSE crews.

06/22/2023 Wednesday, June 28th there will be a  complete road closure on Sunflower Cir.  The road will be closed from 12 sunflower to 14 sunflower. Emergency vehicles and home owners will able to access all homes. There will be notices posted  at both ends of the road and there will be a detour in place for residents that live south of of 14 Sunflower Cir. The road will be closed from 11am till about 3pm. Please drive carefully and obey all signs and flaggers.

Stremler Construction will be closing Harbor View Drive to through traffic on 06/19/23 and 6/20/23 for culvert work. The road will be closed between Cascade Lane and Hillside Place.

We are very pleased to announce that SVCA finalized an agreement with the Whatcom Family YMCA for the provision of swim lessons at Sudden Valley during the 2023 season. Both members and non-members of the Association will be allowed to register for lessons, non-member students will need to purchase a monthly pool pass from SVCA for the swimming lesson session they attend.

There will be two sessions:

Session 1 starts July 10^th and ends August 2^nd.

Session 2 starts August 7^th and ends August 30^th.

Each session will include eight 30-minute lessons and students will be placed into classes based on their level of ability.

Lessons will take place on Mondays and Wednesday between 9:30am – 12:00pm

During this time, three lap lanes will remain open for the use of Association members and pass-holding non-members.

The entrance to Deer Creek Condos on 5-31-23 starting at 8 am. One lane of the entrance will be closed for a trace wire repair. There still be access to the condos. Please pay attention to flaggers and drive carefully. This work is expected to be completed by the afternoon.

Crews will be onsite to complete some parking lot stripping at the Welcome Center

There should be plenty of parking available despite the work being done.

Kamps Painting will be onsite 05/11/2023 to replace the missing crosswalk inside Gate 1 closest to the Guard Shack. Please drive carefully and obey the flaggers.

Monday, 04/24 from 9:30 to 4:00, Sudden Drive between Saffron Court and Sagewood Court will be down to one lane for cable installation. Flaggers will be present, please drive carefully and pay attention to the flaggers.
