Sudden Valley statement on the tragic events this past weekend.
We are deeply saddened by the tragic events that have occurred involving a young family living on Sunflower Circle this past weekend, and continue to be concerned for the mental health of those who may be suffering in our Community. This incident is still under investigation by law enforcement, however we would like to take this time to offer our deepest condolences to the family and close friends of those involved.
Sudden Valley Administration would like to continually remind our members that there are resources available for those who are suffering at this time. The prolonged changes in our quality of life due to the Pandemic has exacerbated existing emotional and mental health issues for millions. SVCA does not assume that this is the reason for the tragedies that occurred over the weekend, but we do feel it very pertinent to remind our members that there is help available for those in need. There is nothing wrong with needing help. Please, reach out for yourself or for others who may be at risk.

Local Domestic Violence Resources
Numerous news and social media outlets have reported a stark rise in Domestic Violence incidents, also known as “Intimate Terrorism”, an unfortunate consequence of the Shelter in Place quarantines mandated by governments around the world to slow the deadly spread of COVID-19. Restricted movement may be causing violence in homes to become more common and severe.
Your safety is important, and violence in any form is unacceptable. Please know help is available for you. If you believe you are at risk, or need to get to avoid resorting to violence, we encourage you to utilize the local support services listed below:
