Next “Ask the GM” Session Scheduled for Thursday, March 31st

Our next session of “Ask the GM” will be coming up this Thursday, March 31st at 7:00pm. All are welcome to come ask questions of General Manager Dan Pike. Attendees will be able to ask questions directly as well as submit questions via the Q&A section of Zoom.

This session is scheduled for about 45 minutes.

This event will be streamed live on Sudden Valley’s YouTube channel. For those that would like to participate, please connect to the Zoom session so that you can join the Q&A. We will be using the regular Board of Directors Zoom meeting link (reposted below for convenience).

If you missed out on the first session of “Ask the GM”, we will be conducting a second session in about 10 days. All are welcome to come ask questions of new General Manager Dan Pike. Attendees will be able to ask questions directly as well as submit questions via the Q&A section of Zoom.

This session will now be conducted Thursday, February 17th, from 7 to 8pm.

Road Restriction: Marigold Drive on January 24th

Whatcom County Public Works w/Sudden Valley Community Association will have a contractor (Bayside Services) dispatched to perform utility potholing in the shoulder and traveled way of Marigold Drive in Sudden Valley on January 24th, 2022 beginning at 8:00 AM. This work is anticipated to be completed in one working day, but it is possible it could continue into Tuesday the 25th.

Traffic control flagging will be provided for all work and at least a single lane of the Marigold Drive roadway will be opened at all times.

Upcoming Road Closure – 17 Cascade Lane

Community Announcements

Next week and the following week, there will be repeated, temporary road closures at 17 Cascade Lane. The following days and times will see the road fully closed:

  • Tuesday, January 25th from 2pm to 4pm.
  • Monday, January 31st from 11am to 4pm.
  • Thursday, February 3rd from 8am to 1 pm.
  • Tuesday, February 8th from 9am to 2 pm.
  • Wednesday, February 9th from 8am to 12pm
  • Tuesday, February 15th from 8am to 1pm

“Ask the GM” Postponed Until February 2nd

Hi Folks,

We’ve had a very eventful couple of weeks to start the new year. Giving attention to some critical issues has short-changing my ability to provide the robust “Ask the GM” that I’m committed to providing, and which SV residents deserve. To better provide the Q&A you want, I’m delaying the initial “Ask the GM” until the one already scheduled for February 2nd at 7-8PM. I’m also adding a follow-up on February 10th from 3-4PM to accommodate those unable to participate on February 2nd.
