In Sudden Valley, the Restrictive Covenants are what are often called in other HOAs “Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions” (CC&Rs). These enforceable restrictions include everything a homeowner can do to the exterior of their home (including paint colors), the percentage of a property that can be built on, requiring permission to remove trees from a property, etc. All of SVCA’s Governing Documents can be found here.
