PREPARE FOR SNOW EVENT

READY FOR A WHITE CHRISTMAS?

Forecasts are predicting 6 – 10 inches of snow for Sudden Valley and the surrounding area beginning this evening through Sunday.

Our Snow Crew plans to begin plowing all the main roads beginning at 4a, Dec. 25th. The goal is to have all the main roads cleared by 10a. Baby Plow will be in the Valley as well.

Please help by parking cars in driveways.

Please make sure you are stocked up in the event roads are not passable and prepared for the possibility of a power outage. Temperatures are expected to stay below freezing over the next several days.

Where possible, we encourage residents to park in their driveways and garages to make way for snow removal vehicles. Driving a plow through our community’s narrow roads can be very dangerous. Snow removal becomes more difficult as road conditions worsen. Everyone can help keep these areas clear so the SVCA Snow Crew can maintain the streets safely and do so more efficiently in safer driving conditions.

Vehicles blocking the plows or emergency services can have a devastating impact. If you must abandon your car, please notify Security at 360-603-6136 and give your contact info, the location of the vehicle, along with the make and model.

SVCA’s Snow Crew will be opening Gate 5’s Overflow Parking Area this evening, Dec. 24th.

Stay safe and Happy Holidays,

~The Snow Crew
