The SVCA Finance Committee has committee vacancies on the 2021 committee. Members interested in serving should submit a volunteer form https://suddenvalley.com/residents-resources/volunteer/  or contact BODHarris@suddenvalley.com & Paper application forms are available in the Admin office.

Finance Committee members should have experience or training in accounting, financial management, or corporate finance. Accepting applications until December 10, 2020.

ACC VACANCY

Committee Meetings, Special Announcement

The SVCA Architectural Control Committee has vacancies on its 2021 committee. Candidates must be SVCA Members in good standing & possess familiarity with SVCA Governing Documents (CC&R and ACC Policies).
ACC Candidates should be prepared to spend approximately 20 hours per month in the conduct of their duties, including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Attending bi-monthly ACC meetings
  • Conducting bi-monthly on-site evaluations of homes and property for construction, renovations and landscaping requests including tree removal and replacement requests
  • Conducting new construction planning activities
  • Coordinating with ACC Administrator, General Manager, & SVCA membership
  • Developing policies and procedures
  • Develop a working knowledge of SVCA Governing Documents as well as the County Planning and Watershed requirements.

Candidates with experience in construction, plumbing, electrical, forestry, hydrology and arbor disciplines are highly desirable.

New Board Officers Elected

New officers were elected for the Board of Directors during the 11-09-2020 special election. If you would like to see the event, please view the recorded livestream on our YouTube channel.

The officers elected are as follows:

  • President – AJ Tischleder
  • Vice President – Josh Bowens
  • Treasurer – Kimberly Harris
  • Secretary – Steffy Jones

Additionally, the following committees have new board leadership and/or members:

  • Long-Range Planning Committee (LRPC) – Brian Cope (head), AJ Tischleder

N&E Organizational Meeting

After a couple of delays in the meeting time the N&E Committee was able to meet at 5:30PM on Saturday after the AGM. Elected as Chair was Linda Bradley and Nancy Alyanak was elected Secretary. The next N&E meeting is Tuesday, November 10th at 7:00PM to certify the 2020 AGM election voting results.
Thank you to the 2020 N&E Committee for a successful year and all your excellent work on Saturday. Although a long day, in the end, a highly successful completion to see that all voting was tabulated and reported.
